New isotopes discovered

The image to the right shows a surface plot of the particle identification spectrum that revealed new neutron-rich isotopes for the first time. Highlighted are the events that correspond to the heaviest isotopes of magnesium, aluminum, and silicon. These findings were recently published in Nature.
