Abstract

Group communication systems, and several aspects of object oriented software technology were studied in the context of their applicability to nuclear data acquisition system software (DAQ). Some of the technology evaluated can be productively incorporated into the design of data acquisition systems for use at Nuclear Physics research laboratories.
